Who is vulnerable? This will depend on the Emergency, its nature, severity and location. We have not created a list of the vulnerable. Encourage members of the community to look out for their neighbours. Depending on the situation it may be a good idea to maintain a visible presence in the village, it may be appropriate for one person from the Emergency team to check up on anyone who may be in need of help. This may include:
- Anyone with a disability
- The elderly
- Anyone with very young children or who is pregnant
- Anyone who is new to the village, or is visiting
- Anyone who does not speak English
